Presidential Search Committee Congratulates Self Unanimously

JRC- In a recent unanimous vote, the presidential search committee congratulated itself on its discovery of Dr. Raynard Kington.

“We definitely did a great job on this committee. I don't think people understand how much we nailed this assignment. We all need to be congratulated,” said committee chairman Richard Faulkner.

Committee member Rachel Nixon '10 added that they “hit this one out of the park.”

The committee was in charge of going through the hundreds of potential candidates for the Grinnell College President. Their choice of Kington was met with universal praise within the committee.

“Have you seen Raynard's resume? That guy got his M.D. at the age of 21 and has an M.B.A. from Wharton Business School. We did great,” concluded committee member Jacob Rice '87.

To commemorate the achievement of the Presidential Search Committee, the Board of Trustees has formed a committee to determine the best way to congratulate them. As of press time, they are deadlocked on whether to order an ice cream cake.
